5 TRENDS FOR THE UPCOMING FALL SEASON

September is getting closer, so now is the best time to start looking for new elements of your wardrobe that you might be missing or would like to have for the incoming chilly weather. As you are all aware by now, I do not blindly follow what the most distinguished and popular fashion houses are presenting during their haute couture shows. And there is nothing wrong with that. If a particular style, model or shape suites and I believe that I can wear it both in and out of season, it will be very happily welcomed into my collection :). 

Today, I’d like to share five trends for the upcoming season with you. Each of them have something that struck me as interesting and unique, and I hope that they suit your tastes too.

Wrzesień zbliża się nieubłaganie dlatego jest to chyba najlepszy czas aby zacząć kolekcjonować poszczególne elementy garderoby na ten sezon. Jak wiecie nie podążam obsesyjnie za tym co prezentują nam wybitne domy mody podczas swoich pokazów haute couture niemniej jednak nie uważam aby było w tym coś złego. Jeżeli dany styl, model czy fason odpowiada moim gustom i uważam, że sprawdzi się na dłuższą metę to jak najbardziej powitam go pośród mojej skromnej kolekcji :).

Dzisiaj chciałabym zatem zaprezentować wam pięć największych trendów na nadchodzący sezon. Każdy z nich ma w sobie coś co mnie zaciekawiło i co uznałam przypadnie również i wam do gustu.

1.Navy inspired – military style

Military styles are usually in khaki colours, but in this season, navy is taking the main stage. This colour is more classy and elegant. Even though I like khaki colours, I would love to see the navy coat or blazer in my wardrobe. The famous cut of the military style is the double-breasted jacket or sailor type trousers which are well worth investing in for a good wardrobe.

Styl militarny głównie kojarzy się z kolorem khaki niemniej jednak w tym sezonie granatowy depcze mu po piętach. Kolor ten jest bardziej klasyczny i elegancki. Pomimo, że bardzo lubię odcienie khaki, to z chęcią widziałabym u siebie taki granatowy płaszcz czy marynarkę. Słynnym krojem stylu militarnego są dwurzędowe marynarki oraz spodnie w stylu marynarskim, które tym samym należą do elementów wartych inwestycji.

2.Leopard style

Leopard style is something that continuously turns up in trend after trend. Whether it be shoes, bags, belts or coats, leopard print will always be there. I myself have a bikini cover in those characteristic spots. This season seems to have a leopard style coming back on the full beam. Personally, I am not a huge fan – but I do think that a small accent can add a new face to our looks :)

2.Panterka

Panterka jest chyba jednym ze wzorów, który od zawsze gdzieś się pojawiał w modzie. Czy to panterkowe buty, torebka, pasek czy płaszcz. Ja do dzisiaj mam bikini w te charakterystyczne cętki. Niemniej jednak w tym sezonie panterka powraca w dosłownie zdwojoną siłą! Osobiście aż tak wielką jej fanką nie jestem, ale drobny akcent czasami może nadać naszej stylizacji zupełnie nowego oblicza :)

3. Layers

Layered skirts seem to be coming back into trend, but in a much more refreshed form. Different colours, patterns, additional layers of materials or noble lace on the line that add up a bit of a lush look to the skirt. 

3.Warstwy

Warstwowane spódnice znowu powracają do łask tylko w nieco „podrasowanej” formie. Różne kolory, wzory, dodatki materiałów czy szlachetna koronka na podszyciu, która nadaje całej spódnicy odrobinę puszystości.

4.Black with sheer

I have never liked the blouses or dresses with too much of the sheer material as I was feeling naked in them. But on my last visit to Zara I saw a dress that – even though it had a lace top and no lining – stole my heart. If we could add a nice top made of good material to this dress, the transparency would be balanced out into something I felt comfortable wearing. What do you think? This season, it is on trend to be transparent :). Chanel is presenting transparency in a more romantic version, and Givenchy is too with a boudoir style. Myself? I have always been a romantic. :)

4.Czerń łączona ze zwiewną tkaniną

Nigdy nie lubiłam zbyt przeźroczystych bluzek czy sukienek, bo czułam się w nich goła. Niemniej jednak podczas ostatniej wizyty w Zarze, zobaczyłam sukienkę, która pomimo całej koronkowej góry (i nie miała ona podszewki) skradła moje serce. Jeżeli jednak do takiej koronkowej sukienki z prześwitującą góra dobierzemy top z fajnego materiału, przeźroczystość zostanie zbalansowana do naszego określonego minimum.  W tym sezonie to właśnie „przeswity” mają być modne :). Prezentowane przez Chanel w bardziej romantycznej wersji oraz Givenchy, który narzucił buduarowy styl. Ja chyba jednak skłaniałabym się ku bardziej romantycznej wersji koronek oraz prześwitów.

5. Floral accent

We have already seen floral themes in the spring/summer season when Gucci showcased a collection full of the colourful motif. While I have to admit that I prefer softer-looking clothes and accessories, I am absolutely taken with the floral accent. The white Gucci bag with flowers is one of my favourites. (You can find pictures underneath!) 

5.Kwiaty

Motyw kwiatowy w modzie pojawił się już w sezonie wiosna – lato kiedy to Gucci zaprezentował swoją kolekcję pełną tego kolorowego motywu. Przyznam szczerze, że chociaż preferuję rzeczy stonowane, to nawet mnie porwał motyw kwiatowy. Biała torebka Gucci wytłoczona kwiatami jest chyba jedną z moich faworytek (na zdjęciu niżej możecie zobaczyć kilka produktów).

The floral motif seems to be a constant in the world of fashion. It is not only distinguished fashion houses that are using it in their collections, but we are also seeing it on the high street. Jeans with red roses from Zara and their blouses are only a few of their items that caught my attention. I don’t have to add that it is flowers that are my favourite trend in this upcoming season :)

Motyw kwiatowy zdaje się bardziej zagłębiać w świecie mody i już nie tylko wybitne domy mody prezentuje kwiaciaste sukienki czy bluzki, ale i sieciowki. Jeansy wytłaczane czerwonymi różami z Zary czy bluzki to tylko kilka rzeczy, które wpadły mi w oko. Nie muszę chyba dodawać, że to właśnie kwiaty są moim ulubionym trendem w tym sezonie :)
