WHAT TO DO IN LONDON - AUTUMN CULTURAL GUIDE

New season always brings new cultural events. Their frequency is mostly based on the place or more like on the population. I am lucky enough (I know I say that enormous number of times J) to live in London - place mainly known from its cultural events options. It is middle of October. Days are shorter, nights seems to be longer and the temperature outside isn't very convincing. If you live in London and are wondering how to organise your spare time just stay with me for the rest of this post. I will give you some autumn guide to how to not get crazy when you have nothing to do :)

P.S. Those of you who live anywhere else just check the internet for your local events. Maybe you will find something that is worth your time :) 

Nowy sezon niesie ze sobą zupełnie inne wydarzenia kulturalne. Ich częstotliwość jest zwykle oparta na miejscu, albo raczej populacji, jaka się w nim znajduje. Osobiście mam to szczęście (wiem, powtarzam to nieskończoną liczbę razy :)), że mieszkam w Londynie - mieście znanym głównie ze swojej różnorodności i dostępności wydarzeń kulturalnych. Jest połowa października. Dni stały się krótsze, noce dłuższe a temperatura na zewnątrz nie jest bardzo zachęcająca. Jeśli również mieszkacie w Londynie bądź będziecie w nim w najbliższym czasie i zastanawiacie się jak zorganizować sobie wolny czas, to zapraszam do dalszego czytania. Podzielę się z wami jesiennym przewodnikiem na temat jak nie zwariować kiedy nie ma co robić :). 

P.S. Dla tych z was, którzy nie mieszkają w Londynie proponuję aby zajrzeli do internetu w celu zapoznania się z lokalnymi wydarzeniami, które pojawią się w najbliższym czasie. Może któreś z nich okażą się bardzo interesujące i warto poświęcić im odrobinę czasu :). 

Event number one on autumn culture guide is the Mademoiselle Prive exhibiot that will take us through the world of Chanel creations presenting the charismatic personality of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. The exhibiot will take place at Saatchi Gallery in London until the 1^st of November 2015. Those of you who are interested the Saatchi Gallery is located at King's Road, London, SW3 4RY and will be open seven days a week from 10a.m. to 6p.m. The admission is free.

 

Wydarzenie numer jeden na jesiennej liście kulturowej to wystawa Mademoiselle Prive, która zabierze nas w świat Chanel ukazujący kreacje i charyzmatyczną osobowość Mademoiselle Chanel i Karla Lagerfelda. Wystawa ma miejsce w Saatchi Gallery w Londynie i trwać będzie ona do 1 listopada 2015. Dla zainteresowanych Saatchi Gallery znajduje się na King's Road, London, SW3 4RY i jest otwarta siedem dni w tygodniu w godzinach 10-18. Wejście na wystawę jest bezpłatne.

Staying in such artistic mood there is a Louis Vuitton Exhibition series 3. This exhibiot is mainly based on his autumn/winter show 2015, but will also show the past and the future of Louis Vuitton. I am posting this very late as the exhibiton end on the 18^th October 2015, but from the other hand there are still two more days when you can see it considering it is weekend. The location is as follow: 180 Strand, WC2 London. It is open from 10a.m. to 8p.m. and the admission is free.

Pozostając w tak artystycznym nastroju warto również wspomnieć o wystawie Louisa Vuitton serii 3. Cała wystawa oparta jest na jego kolecji jesień/zima 2015 niemniej jednak nie zabraknie również przeszłości jak i przyszłości Louisa Vuitton. Wiem, że jest już trochę późno a wystawa kończy się 18 października 2015, ale z drugiej strony przed nami weekend i całe dwa dni do wykorzystania. Wystawa odbywa się w godzinach 10-20 na 180 Strand, WC2 Londyn. Wejście jest bezpłatne.

Exhibitions are a good way of spending time however we always have to remember to make a little braak for a dinner. Cecconi's will be the ideal place for that. It is Italian inspired restaurant that serves dishes in very classic and elegant way. Their menu have got something for everybody starting from hand-made pasta, seafood and dishes from Northern Italy. It is located in the heart of the city at 5A Burlington Gardens, Mayfair, London. 

W przerwie między zwiedzaniem warto zajrzeć do Cecconis na obiad. Restauracja zainspirowana włoskim stylem serwująca potrawy w bardzo klasyczny a zarazem elegancki sposób. W swoim menu ma do zaoferowania ręcznie robiony makaron, owoce morza jak i dania z północnych Włoch. Usytuowana w samym centrum miasta a dokładnie na 5A Burlington Gardens, Mayfair, Londyn.

Spectre is the newest production from James Bond producer. It will be released in cinemas on the 26^th October 2015, so you better get your hand on the tickets already. Unlikely to any other movie, Bond will be released for the public on the same day as the World Premiere date which will take place at Leicester Square in London. 

"Spectre" to najnowsza produkcja producentów Jamesa Bonda. Kolejna odsłona, w której zobaczymy Daniela Craiga w roli Bonda. W Wielkiej Brytanii film trafi do kina 26 października 2015 natomiast w Polsce jego premiera odbędzie się 6 listopada 2015. W przeciwieństwie do innych produkcja, Bond trafi na ekrany publiki jeszcze tego samego dnia, kiedy odbędzie się światowa premiera na Leicester Square w Londynie.

Thomas's at Burberry Regent Street is the restaurant called after the founder of the brand. It is a good place to spend time, relax and enjoy your coffee. To have a good start of a day let's have some breakfast at Burberry :).
