HANDMADE CHRISTMAS CARDS

Christmas are just around the corner, so this is the last bell to prepare and send cards! I do realize that handmade cards take some time and effort to prepare. But think about the pleasure you give to loved ones, when in an envelope, instead of a regular bought card, they will find one that may not be perfect, but from the heart? Holidays are the only time of the year when I also decide to prepare them myself. It seems to me that I'm getting better and better, and after one evening the cards are almost ready!

Święta tuż tuż, a więc to ostatni dzwonek na przygotowanie i wysłanie kartek! Zdaje sobie sprawę, że ręczne przygotowanie jest dość czasochłonne. Pomyśl jednak jaką przyjemność sprawisz bliskim, kiedy w kopercie zamiast zwykłej kupionej kartki znajdzie się ta, która może nie będzie idealna, ale od serca? Święta to jedyny czas w roku, kiedy ja również decyduję się przygotować je własnoręcznie. Wydaje mi się, że idzie mi coraz lepiej, a po jednym wieczorze kartki są prawie gotowe!

Card No 1

What you will need: 

 Scissors

Ruller

Pencil

Glue

Blank papers in chosen colour (I used the white one as a base, vintage pattern with gifts and white glittery)

Sheet music

Paper reindeer 

Red bow

Little cones

Tiny cotton wool ball (I got mine from Hobby Craft)

Snowflakes (you can get them in Hobby Craft too)

Piece of lace 

Gold glitter

Brush
Wooden plate with wishes (mine from Hobby Craft) 
Jute twine

Co potrzeba: 

Nożyczki

Linijka 

Ołówek

Klej 

Czyste kartki papieru w wybranych kolorach (ja użyłam białej kartki jako bazy, kartkę w stylu retro we wzory z prezentami oraz białą kartkę brokatową) 

Nuty (można wydrukować z internetu)

Papierowy renifer

Czerwona kokardka

Małe szyszki

Małe kuleczki z waty (powinny być dostępne w sklepie z papierami)

Płatki śniegu

Złoty brokat

Pędzelek 

How to do it:

The base paper fold half. The second paper (I used the vintage pattern) cut so it is 0.5 cm less than the base on every side.  The last paper (the one with glittery) cut by another 1 cm less than the middle one (this way it will be more visible).

Jak zrobić:

Bazową kartkę złożyć na pół. Kolejną kartkę (ja wykorzystałam tą wzorzystą) przyciąć odmierzając pół centymetra mniej z każdej ze stron. Ostatnią kartkę (tą z brokatem) przyciąć odmierzając jeden centymetr mniej z każdej strony - dzięki temu nasza wzorzysta kartka będzie bardziej widoczna. 

Music sheet tear leaving them as wide as the card is and long as 1/3 of the overall length of the paper.  I burnt the sides of the paper and on the top and the bottom I used a bit of the blush. 

Nuty porwij na szerokość całej kartki i grubości 1/3 całej długości. Ja podpaliłam boki a górę oraz dół przypudrowałam. 

Once the music sheet is ready, glue the middle and the last paper together. The music sheet add as the last. If you have sewing machine, you can sew the card around if not just glue it to the base paper. 

Następnie sklej ze sobą środkową oraz ostatnią kartkę. Na sklejone kartki przyklej po środku nuty. Jeżeli posiadasz maszynę do szycia obszyj dookoła sklejone elementy tak jak na zdjęciu poniżej. W przypadku braku maszyny naklej gotowe kartki na kartkę bazową. 

Time for our reindeer! :) To make it suite the card, I decorated it with gold glittery. What you have to do is put some glue across the reindeer in the places where you want it to be glittery. Then you spread it all over it and leave for a minute to stick properly. Once it is done just shake the remaining off. Now all thats left is to stick all of the remaining parts of the paper on as on the picture underneath :)

Pora na naszego renifera! :) Aby pasował do całej kartki udekorowałam go złotym brokatem. Należy posmarować go w poprzek klejem. Następnie posyp brokatem i odczekaj chwilę aż się przylepi. Strzep pozostałości brokatu na kartkę. Teraz już tylko pozostaje ponaklejać wszystkie elementy tak jak na zdjęciu poniżej i gotowe :)

Red paper as the base, white glittery paper and a pattern paper 

Gold lace

Red bow

A little bell

Three tiny Christmas flowers (I got mine from Hobby Craft) 

Wooden plate with wishes (mine from Hobby Craft) 

Jute twine

Glue

Scissors

Ruler

Pencil

Papier w kolorze czerwonym, biały z brokatem oraz wzorzysty (motyw świąteczny)

Złota koronka

Czerwona kokardka w kratkę

Mały dzwoneczek

Trzy małe świąteczne kwiatki 

Drewniana tabliczka z życzeniami

Sznurek

Klej

Nożyczki

Linijka

Ołówek

You do this card in exactly the same way as the previous one with the only exception that the white glittery paper is in the middle here. 

Sposób wykonania tej kartki jest dokładnie taki sam za wyjątkiem białej brokatowej kartki, która jest w środku a wzorzysta kartka przychodzi na wierzch :)
