REISS PRESS DAY FOR SS18

Few days ago, I had the opportunity to participate in the presentation of the Reiss collection for the spring / summer 2018 season. This is one of the privileges I gained by setting up a blog. I will not hide that I quite like it :). By looking closely at the collection and getting to know what's going to be trendy next season, I am able to prepare you with all kinds of inspiration for what should be in spring-summer ‘must-have’ list.

Both in the last year and in this year, the collection is fully refined and none of its elements was in it accidentally. I have the impression that the word 'accidently' in relation to this brand is rather the last word that could be attributed to it. However, moving to the collection itself, there was plenty of room for comfortable heels, silk shirts, oversized knits, and stripes in varying sizes, which will roll from spring to summer. The main message of the entire collection is the earthy tones, which are suitable for both the day and the evening. Reiss set the goal of creating clothes suitable for women who want to live here and now while maintaining the comfort and convenience that will accompany them throughout the day. The key message is that both elements of the spring and summer collection can be worn throughout both seasons.

Huge attention was paid to the quality and performance of all these elements. As I have mentioned before, many of the garment parts are handmade. In the same collection you will find embroidered flowers, which evoke a retro atmosphere combined with a note of modernity. Photographer Slim Aarons is the main inspiration for the entire collection, but also the Simone Gooch a London florist and Pablo Picasso’s drawings while creating summer elements.

Kilka dni temu miałam okazję uczestniczyć w prezentacji kolekcji marki Reiss na sezon wiosna / lato 2018. Jest to jeden z przywilejów jaki zyskałam zakładając blog. Nie będę ukrywać, że całkiem mi się on podoba :). Mogąc z bliska przyjrzeć się kolekcji oraz zapoznać się z tym co będzie modne w przyszłym sezonie, jestem w stanie przygotować dla Was wszelkiego rodzaju inspiracje do tego co powinno znaleźć się w wiosenno-letnich niezbędnikach.

Zarówno w zeszłym roku jak i w tym kolekcja jest w pełni dopracowana a żaden z jej elementów nie znalazł się w niej przypadkiem. Mam wrażenie, że słowo ‘przypadek’ w odniesieniu do tej marki to raczej ostatnie słowo jakie można by jej przypisać. Przechodząc jednak do samej kolekcji, to znalazło się w niej dużo miejsca na wygodne obcasy, jedwabne koszule, oversizowe swetry jak i zarówno paski pod każdą postacią, które będą przewijać się począwszy od wiosny aż do lata. Głównym przesłaniem całej kolekcji są ziemskie kolory, które nadają się zarówno na dzień jak i na wieczór. Reiss postawił sobie za cel stworzenie ubrań odpowiednich dla kobiet, którą chcą żyć tu i teraz zachowując przy tym komfort i wygodę, która będzie towarzyszyć im przez cały dzień. Najważniejszym przesłaniem jest jednak to aby zarówno elementy z kolekcji wiosennej nadały się w sezonie letnim.

Ogromna uwaga została poświęcona również jakości oraz wykonaniu wszystkich tych elementów. Jak już Wam kiedyś wspominałam, wiele naszywanych części w ich ubraniach jest ręcznie wykonywane w ich siedzibie w Londynie. W kolekcji tym samym nie zabraknie wyszywanych kwiatów, które przywołują klimat retro łączony z nutką nowoczesności. Fotograf Slim Aarons stanowi główną inspiracje dla całej kolekcji, ale również i florystka Simone Gooch czy rysunki Pabla Picasso podczas tworzenia letnich elementów.
